Pathways

The Thompson Career Campus offers four in demand and growing career pathways. Curriculum for each pathway is rooted in real-world skills, with a focus on putting learners in an industry-based culture and climate. Courses in each pathway are designed to be successful by building upon the professional skills and knowledge gained in prerequisite courses.

Core Integration

Most courses at Thompson Career Campus offer English, Science and/or Math credits. To keep students on track for graduation, these courses have been integrated into the curriculum for all pathways.

The selection process consists of a holistic review of the student that includes the following criteria:

  • Pathway prerequisites
  • Attendance
  • Credits earned toward graduation requirements
  • Current Grades/GPA
  • Behavior
  • Grade level
  • Consult with case manager and/or counselor

Students will build a solid foundation while preparing and learning the best skills for employment. They will have a “hands on” experience with using power tools, reading blueprints and working with our industry partners.
