From startups to major corporations, thousands of technology companies call Colorado their home. Most industries depend on technology and IT professionals to grow and thrive, and with that need, there is also the need to protect data and networks through cybersecurity.
Today's youth are digital natives and those who choose a career in information technology are able to contribute in meaningful ways and help create a dynamic workforce. Students have numerous opportunities, as some occupations, such as web developers and network support specialists, require an associate's degree. Other occupations, like computer support specialists, need only coursework and on-the-job training.
Program OverviewIn the IT/Cybersecurity pathway students will learn cutting edge technology and have the ability to earn a variety of industry technical certifications and introduce students to cloud computing & security, networking, coding, digital forensics, cyber safety. If that isn’t enough, students will also learn essential skills in the pathway for today and tomorrow’s cyber workforce.
